Primitive Beer and Amalgam Brewing lovingly teamed up to create Friends With Blendefits, an expressive yet balanced blend of beers, bottle conditioned on a variety of priming sugars. A single puncheon of Primitive’s spontaneous beer was blended in equal parts with a select puncheon of Amalgam’s mixed-culture golden sour and then divided into three treatments.
This bottling run was conditioned with Scottish Heather Honey, a favorite of mead-makers and drinkers. While light and balanced, this release boasts an irresistibly intense deep, sweet floral character that is undoubtedly contributed by Heather Honey.
